II. DJ Service Specific Terms

These terms apply specifically to the booking and provision of DJ services by DJ Wico.

1. Schedule A Meeting

We offer convenient meeting options to discuss your event. Meetings can be scheduled in the Durbanville area or virtually via Zoom/WhatsApp video call.

2. Booking Fee

To secure your booking, a non-refundable booking fee of 30% of the total service cost is required. Please note that this booking fee cannot be refunded in the event of cancellation or any other circumstance. The remaining balance must be settled and paid in full one week prior to the scheduled event date.

3. Setup

Please ensure that a suitable table and tablecloth are prepared on the day of the event for the DJ setup. Additionally, you must inform us about the availability of a power outlet near the DJ table (within 10 meters). The setup will commence 90 minutes prior to the event start time. If DJ Wico is required to set up more than 90 minutes before the event, an additional fee of R 1000 per hour will be charged.

4. Meals

It is required that meals be provided for the DJ and their assistant(s) on the day of the event.

5. Damages

The client will be held responsible for any damage to the equipment that may occur during the course of the event due to negligence or intentional acts by the client or their guests.

6. Overtime

Should you wish to extend the DJ service beyond the agreed-upon hours, kindly notify DJ Wico 30 minutes before the scheduled end of your event. Please note that payment for overtime must be made in cash at the time of the extension.

7. Behaviour

Unwarranted abuse or threatening behaviour from the client or guests will not be tolerated. Such conduct will result in the immediate termination of the performance, with no liability or loss to the DJ.

8. Payments

The full amount, as stated on the quote or invoice, is payable no later than one week prior to the event.

9. Weather

Outdoor entertainment cannot proceed in the event of rainy or inclement weather on the day of the event. The client is responsible for arranging an alternative, weather-safe location if required.

10. Availability

DJ Wico operates as a professional DJ company. Should DJ Wico be personally unavailable on the agreed event date, a highly skilled and experienced DJ from his team will be appointed to perform, ensuring the same exceptional standard.
